PN: Alt +f4, the origin of the name
Alt F4: As there are 4 members in the band, we came up with this name......alt f4.... as it's the computer age too so why not.....

PN: How long have you all known each other? How did you meet?
Alt F4: Alon , Ahwan, Sambrid and Girish used to jam up since 2000 .............later in 2003 with Kiran , they recorded their first album -"TRAASH" at panel studio ...............consisting of 8 songs.....

PN: What inspired you to make music together ?
Alt F4:In 2006 ........mid july...............with Samir on bass, Kiran on vocals, Alon on drums and Girish on guitar we recorded at phoenix studio ..........inspiration was there as we used to listen to all sort of music since our child-hood and more we connected well....as in 2005 Ahwan went for further studies::::samir rai joined the force, the very year...

PN: Since when did you start your musical journey
Alt F4: from 2003......but it was off the record like any other bands......taking part in "SPRITE BAND CHALLENGE" was the spotlight where we came 2nd runner up ...................Yhanks to Kantipur television for such a platform.....

PN: How many band members do you have + list the respective instrument each band member use
+ what made the each individual of the band to choose their instruments
Alt F4:four membersr- santosh on drums, kiran on vocal, girish on guitar and samir on bass........

PN: Your current genre of music and the reason behind it and your major influences
Alt F4: Nep-Rock..............coz it's the blend of western music with nepali lyrics....we hardly do any cover songs............from RATM to 1974 ad, michael jackson to deep shrestha , bryan adams to nepathya....lamb of god to narayan gopal.....we love everything ............

PN: The best event you have performed so far, your favorite and least favorite venues?
Alt F4: Dharan and Basantapur are the best venue so far......we enjoyed a lot while playing in Silence Festival, event by Silence Entertainment and the least favourite venue has been none....coz we love to play anywhere on earth and are least concerned whether people come or not......

PN: The themes of your songs
Alt F4:as altf4 is a social politically powered band..we have been writing songs about nepal and will always........kiran along with santa raj gurung writes almost all lyrics......

PN: Which songs do you perform most frequently?
Alt F4:As per popular demand : "LADAI" is the most frequent song::::::we love playing "SWIKARA" too......

PN: Your current record label or a member of any music organization
Alt F4:record label- phoenix studio at bagdole ........music organisation is none....altf4 is a a D.I.Y. band so far...

PN: How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
Alt F4: i think we should say we are doing fine .....................

PN: Your current project
Alt F4:we are now doing new songs, experimenting here and there , for our next album ......recently we have just finished recording demo of our new songs :nepal BIDHUT APARADHIKARAN and MAHA NARAK PALIKA
